The cover painting is a reproduction of a Bloomsbury portrait of Vanessa Steven Bell, Virginia Woolf's sister. Many hours of work went into this detailed and colorful picture of Vanessa lounging with her collection of books. The painting is finished with a protective coat of sheen that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

The leather album is handmade. The design is hand-drawn, hand-tooled, then painted with durable acrylic paint. The inside is covered in gold suede, has a three-ring binder and leather flap.
