Matisse's Goldfish painting is one of my favorites. I have a framed print of this painting in my dining room.

The leather notebook is handmade. The pieces are hand-cut, the design is hand-drawn, hand-tooled, then painted with durable acrylic paint. The inside flap has a second Matisse painting of goldfish. The paintings are finished with a protective coat that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

The inside is lined with suede and holds a 5" x 8" tablet. There are two spaces for other papers, behind the tablet and the inside flap on the left. There is a slot for business cards and also a pen holder.

The notebook measures 7" x 9 1\/2" when closed.

This is a unique, handmade notebook that should last a lifetime. It is made to be used, but can also be set upright on your desk as a work of art.
