A work of art and a functional portfolio rolled into one! Picasso said, "All things considered, there is only Matisse." Don't you agree?

The portfolio is 14 1/4" by 10 1/2". It is all leather, with a zippered closure. The left side interior has one large space for papers, an inside zippered compartment, another space for smaller papers, five slots for ID or cards, and a calculator. The right side holds a tablet and pen. It is hand-sewn with black waxed thread.

The painting is a replica of a painting by Matisse named "Rumanian Blouse." It was painted in 1937 and resides at the Cincinnati Art Museum. It is hand-tooled and painted with acrylic paint and then covered with a protective coating. The border and back are painted black.

Many hours of work went into this painting. When you're not carrying the portfolio to meetings or appointments, set it upright on your desk to enjoy as a painting. This would make a distinctive gift that will last for many years. With care, it could be an heirloom to passed down!
