The Yellow Flower design is adapted from a cloth mola made in Panama by Kuna Indian women. I have a T-shirt with this mola design that I have always loved.

The leather is hand-tooled and hand-painted. Acrylic paint is used to create this durable cover that can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

The checkbook cover measures 3 5/8" x 6 7/8" closed. The inside is all leather with two panels where the checkbook and register are inserted. The back has two small flowers.

It is hand-stitched with black waxed thread and finished with a coating of protective sheen.
